Using Infographics

In this workshop, we provided an overview of recent initiatives in using visual/graphical abstracts and infographics to make academic research more attractive and accessible to non-specialists and the public. Participants learned about best practices in how to summarize and present research findings via visual formats creatively. We will present key principles of multimedia learning and graphic design and illustrate how they can be applied to create an accurate, informative and accessible visual research output.
